1.Cucumber Yogurt Mask
. 1/2 cucumber
. 1 tbsp yogurt
This mask is perfectly safe to use for all skin types, the lactic acid in the yogurt helps exfoliate skin gently to remove dead skin cells leaving you with a smooth surface.Lactic acid also aids in closing large pores, making skin look younger. Forgot to apply sunscreen and got a sunburn ? The yogurt also helps for sunburn relief, by cooling the skin surface while fighting pimples and discoloration. Combined with the cooling power of a cucumber, this cucumber yogurt face mask will moisturiser, cool and treat dehydrated skin for that summer glow you have been looking for !
To prepare: peel the cucumber and puree it with yogurt, let the mask sit in the fridge for a few minutes until it is cool to the touch then apply it evenly on you face and neck. leave on for 15-20 min then wash with cold water.
2. Avocado Honey Mask
. Half an avocado chilled (prior to using)
. Three tea spoon of honey
Avocado is known to protect the skin from UV radiation ( which is listed as a carcinogen), making it great to use in the summer. It contains good fast that work great to moisturize and softening your skin. It is also known to decrease inflammation ( a major cause of skin aging) thanks to its high contant of Vitamin A, E and C . The benefits of honey are equally impressive as it contains natural antibacterial properties making it a great option for acne-prone skin. Its moisturizing qualities help create that sun-kissed flow. To prepare: mash up half a chilled avocado with two tea spoons of honey until it reaches a puree consistency for an easier application. Lather on all over your face and neck. let the mask sit for 15-20 minutes and rinse off gently in a circular motion.
3- Lemon and Strawberry mask
.4 medium strawberries
.2 table spoons of lemon juice
.1 tea spoon of honey (optional)
